Battle Mountain Resort is envisioned as a 1,700 unit, 1,000 skiable acre mountain resort located directly between Vail and Beaver Creek in central Colorado. The resort also includes an 18 hole golf course, Nordic trail system, a fly fishing club, and three major villages set across the properties 5,000 acres.
International Alpine Design and a team of planners and architects assisted the Ginn Company in a comprehensive site evaluation and master plan for the property. IAD’s specific work included a variety of GIS site analysis including ridgeline and viewshed studies for entitlements, land use concept alternatives, project visualizations, detailed ski area and real estate site planning, strategic financial analysis, and implementation oversight for this major resort development.
